Broadcasts from empty rooms presented night-time soundscapes from vacant buildings in Port Adelaide: exploring the potential of uninhabited places. A live-streamed Internet radio connected audiences to these inaccessible urban landscapes, broadcasting the atmospheric sound from a different deserted building Saturday nights during the FELTmaps project including the Old Port Adelaide Post Office, Harts Mill Flour Shed and the Torrens Island Quarantine Station.
Listeners tuned in via a web radio station http://broadcast.
This project has been developed in conversation with Heidi Angove (awesome geek) she works at eatmorecode.com.
This project will have a second development with the Adhocracy Residency Program at Vitalstatistix in June 2014.
